Before school care runs every morning in term time from 7:30 am until 8:30 am (when the Waverley Public School playground becomes supervised)

After school care runs every afternoon in term time from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.

At WCOOSC the children participate in a variety of structured and unstructured indoor and outdoor activities such as:

• Sport

• Games

• Art and craft

• Special weekly classes e.g. Gymnastics or Coding (changes each term)

• Child led free play

Movies (G and PG rated only) are also offered, generally late in the afternoon or on wet/exceptionally hot days. Your permission is required at the time of enrolment for children to participate in this activity.

Breakfast is available until 8.20am each morning and includes a selection of cereals, toast, yoghurt.

Afternoon tea is served at the end of roll call, approximately 3.20pm for all childre, it always begins with fruit after which children are offered a different light snack each day, such as sandwiches, yoghurt, a small cup of pasta, etc.

We aim to provide a variety of healthy and nutritious options for the children and menu suggestions/recipes are very welcome from parents.

If your child has any dietary requirements please include them in your enrolment application.

WCOOSC is a “nut and sesame aware” centre meaning we do not serve foods contains these items.

Families are also discouraged from bringing in foods that contain nuts or sesame.

We are located within Waverley Public School and share a number of inside spaces with the school.

We also share the playground giving our children lots of space to run around and play outside if they want to (weather permitting!).

In the morning, children are dropped off to the school hall for before care & vacation care.

In the afternoons, children are picked up at the WCOOSC counter, near the covered water fountains.

They need to be signed in and out by the person dropping them or collecting them.

Any person who is collecting your child must be listed as an authorised person with WCOOSC.
